About Under Radar
Under Radar Records is a vinyl and cassette tape resale shop based in Lawndale, CA. They specialize in underground genres like punk, hardcore, metal, and other sub-genres rather than mainstream music. I chose to rebrand this company because I wanted to explore a heavily textured visual style in a brand setting. The proposed system uses a bold sans serif paired with gritty textures to emulate the nostalgia of DIY design.
With my passion for underground music and overgrowing vinyl + cassette collection, I also wanted to use this project to highlight my interests in a personal way by using my photographs from shows, my friend's bands, and my vintage stereo system for motion graphics.
